RESUMO:
Lung cancer is among the leading causes of cancer-related mortality worldwide. In this context, the analysis of histopathological images plays an essential role in diagnosis. In this work, deep learning techniques were investigated for the classification of lung cancer histopathological images, combining data augmentation and ensemble learning strategies. The results demonstrated that these approaches significantly improved model performance, achieving accuracies of up to 100\% on images at 20× magnification and 98\% on images at 40× magnification. These findings highlight the potential of such techniques as support tools for histopathological analysis.
